StormCheck

Storm monitoring and homeowner technology for roofing companies

StormCheck is a storm-monitoring platform built for roofing companies. It watches the weather across a service territory, tracks which homes were just exposed to hail or damaging wind, and tells the roofer exactly where to look — so a damaged roof gets found before it turns into a leak.

7-day watch

Weather forecasts and storm alerts across the whole service territory.

One record

Homeowner, property, storm history and inspection photos in one place.

Built for the field

Reps work from the driveway, online or off.

What it means for a homeowner

Most roof damage after a storm is not obvious from the ground. A hail strike can bruise shingles without breaking them, and that damage can sit for a year before it shows up as a stain on a ceiling. StormCheck closes that gap. When a qualifying storm passes over a property in the system, both the roofing company and the homeowner are notified — so an inspection happens while the damage is fresh and still straightforward to document. Every visit stays on the property’s record: the storms that hit it, the photos taken on the roof, the date of the last inspection. When it comes time to file an insurance claim, that history already exists.

One platform, two apps

For the field team

The homeowner mobile app

Branded for the roofing company. Reps add homeowners and properties, book inspections, capture roof photos and documents, and file reports from the driveway — online or off.

For the office

The admin panel

A web dashboard for the whole database: homeowners, employees, inspection reports, a 7-day weather forecast for any US city, and one-click storm alerts by ZIP code.

From homeowner to claim-ready opportunity

01

Add and protect

Add the homeowner and property to StormCheck. Their home becomes part of the protected territory and storm-monitoring network.

02

Monitor and inspect

StormCheck monitors weather around the property and alerts the team when a qualifying storm hits. Schedule an inspection, document the roof, and upload photos straight to the property record.

03

Alert and close

The homeowner gets notified, the team gets the opportunity, and everyone has what they need. Property history, storm data, inspection photos and customer details stay together from first contact through the claim.

What StormCheck does

StormCheck helps roofing companies build a homeowner database before the storm happens, monitor that database for severe weather, and turn storm activity into inspection opportunities.

Homeowner database

Build and organize a database of homeowners and property details across target territories, ready for inspections and follow-up.

Storm monitoring

Watches weather across the service territory and tracks hail, wind and severe storms, flagging the areas just exposed to potentially damaging weather.

Property and storm history

Every property keeps a running record of the storms that hit it — evidence for the next inspection and the customer conversation.

Automatic storm alerts

The moment a qualifying storm hits an area, StormCheck shows exactly where to focus the crews.

Inspection scheduling

Homeowners book their own inspections, including recurring visits such as twice a year, so contact continues year-round instead of only after a storm.

Automatic scheduling and notifications

Automated follow-ups and reminder notifications keep the calendar full with far less manual work for the office.

Preferred roofer selection

Homeowners pick their preferred roofer, creating a direct relationship before anyone knocks a door.

Roofing company CRM

A centralized system for customers, properties, inspections and storm activity in one place.

Territory management

Territory managers define and work specific geographic areas, making it easier to build territories than to rely on door knocking.

Your branding

The panel and the mobile app ship under the roofing company’s own name and colors, on its own subdomain.

From forecast to inspection in three moves

01

Forecast

The dashboard shows the 7-day outlook for the cities where homeowners live and flags storm days.

02

Flag

StormCheck identifies the ZIP codes just exposed to potentially damaging weather.

03

Notify

Send those homeowners a storm alert from the panel, and reps get the inspection opportunities.

Common questions

Is StormCheck sold to homeowners or to roofing companies?

To roofing companies. The company licenses the platform, and the mobile app and admin panel are branded for their business.

The branded homeowner app for iOS and Android, the web admin panel, hosting, storm-data and weather integrations, updates and support — billed monthly or yearly.

The admin panel tracks weather and severe-storm activity for the cities and ZIP codes where the homeowners live, and flags the areas just exposed to damaging weather.
